Military counseling is a specialized field that addresses the needs of the military community and families of service members.

Military individuals seek treatment for a number of issues, many similar to what civilians seek treatment for - depression, anxiety, anger management, and substance abuse)- but all within the context of the demands placed on them within the military culture.

One of our focuses is to address PTSD in the military community and working on building strong support within military families. Issues may include:

  • Marriage Problems

  • Intimacy and Trust Issues

  • Transitioning Home

  • Cultural and Intercultural Differences

  • Coping Skills

  • Communication Skills
